Illustrator, Jo-Anne Jagers paints and illustrates around Rocky Mountain House, Alberta. She loves spending time with her family and dogs. Having attained an Art Diploma through ICS Canada; inspiration for her work often occurs while walking outdoors with their two large malamutes, Lizbeth and Leonard.

Rocky Mountain House Museum – For Museum Week (May 25 to May 29, 2010) Illustrator Jo-Anne Jagers will be available for a demo/ book signings throughout the day.

Come and see for yourself how to become a book illustrator.  See a display of Jo-Anne's art works - plus other artists from the local area including Myrna Miller (watercolors artist).

The AHA (After Hour Authors) will have their studio set up in the Gently Used Book Store on Main Street, Rocky Mountian House. Local authors will be present with their books and samples of their work, plus Jo-Anne Jagers, children’s book illustrator, and another local water colorist, Myrna Miller, will be in attendance throughout this special event.
